Recruitment Process
All candidates are sent an application pack containing an application form. Application form guidance notes, recruitment flow chart, map, job descriptions and person specifications for all the vacancies we have with the various placement providers. All candidates are required to complete an application form and should you require assistance with completing the form, please contact PATRA Inc ACDA on the telephone number below.
Although PATRA Inc ACDA may not have a vacancy in your area of interest at the time you make an enquiry, you may still complete an application form which will be retained on file until a vacancy arises.
When a vacancy arises, candidates will be invited to an Assessment Centre. The Assessment Centre consists of a literacy, numeracy and computer exercise, which takes approximately 1 hour. Only those candidates who are successful following the assessment, will be invited to an interview with the placement provider and PATRA Inc ACDA. If you are unsuccessful, PATRA Inc ACDA will recommend developmental training with other agencies.
PATRA Inc ACDA will endeavour to notify candidates of the outcome, whether successful or unsuccessful, within one day of the interview, where applicable. The successful candidate will be offered a Traineeship with PATRA Inc ACDA, subject to satisfactory references and Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, if applicable to the post. On receipt of satisfactory references / CRB clearance, PATRA Inc ACDA will arrange a start date with the placement provider.
The Trainee will also be invited to an Induction session at PATRA Inc ACDA, which covers Traineeship Contract Terms and Conditions, the Trainee Handbook, completion of forms and Health and Safety in the Workplace.
